Hardware to Hold: Journey Down the Wedding Aisle

The grand finale presentation began in a real wedding-like format in front of a gorgeous flower wall of real and tissue cream, peach, and delicate pink flowers flanked by two theatrically embellished panels decked out in a black and pearl theme. One innovative design after intrigued us after another as each was carried down the aisle. Each one challenged me to really push myself to my creative limit whenever possible by trying unusual materials. Among the bouquets featured were ones made with metal screens, gracefully curved then embellished, and two pin-cushion décor balls enhanced with fragile blooms and ribbons. The final program left us with a tear of inspiration in our eye and did not disappoint. Congratulations to Katie McCormick-Kharrat AIFD, CFD and Philip Rice AIFD, CFD, the presenters. Next up on the Symposium series... I get schooled!
